Praise His Name, the Name of Jesus

I wrote this song several months ago...I think it is appropriate for Holy Week.



Verse One

With peace be still He calmed the waters

And by His voice the dead were raised

He blessed the bread and fed the thousands

And opened blinded eyes they say

With children in His arms, He blessed them

He healed the lepers on their way

Just a touch upon his garment

Brought healing power to one with faith

He calms the troubles of my soul

He left his royal throne to show

That He would give up all of heaven

To bear the cross and set me free

Through His grace I am redeemed

Just speak His Name for He is listening

His arms are open as He waits

Whisper softly, He will hear you
